Privacy policy.
1. Who is responsible
SNT Constructing ("SNT," "we," "us," or "our") is responsible for the personal information under its control. This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information when you visit our website, ask about a project, request a callback, contact us by phone, or otherwise interact with us.
Questions, access requests, corrections, complaints, or requests not to receive marketing calls may be sent to our privacy contact:
Steve, Privacy Officer
privacy@yourdomain.com
10570 Rue Verville, Montréal, QC H3L 3E8, Canada
2. Information we collect
We collect only information reasonably needed for the purposes explained in this policy. Depending on how you interact with us, that can include:
- Contact and business information, such as your name, company, telephone number, email address, and business or service address.
- Project-request information, such as the kind of construction service you are seeking, scheduling details, and project information you choose to share.
- Communication information, including inbound and outbound telephone numbers, date and time of calls, call duration, status, notes, and contact preferences.
- Consent and preference records, including the source and date of a callback request, the notice version shown, affirmative consent action, and do-not-call or opt-out requests.
- Website and device information, such as IP address, browser type, operating system, referring page, and information needed to secure and operate the site.
Please do not send payment-card details, government identification numbers, health information, or other sensitive information through website forms.
3. Forms and consent records
At present, this website does not collect callback or quote requests through an online form. You may contact us by phone or email. If we enable a quote or callback form, it will ask only for information needed to respond to your request and will include a separate, unselected checkbox asking us to contact you by phone about that request.
Before enabling an online form, SNT will configure HubSpot CRM and ActiveProspect TrustedForm to record the form, notice, and consent language presented at submission. Those records may include the page URL, date and time, information entered into the form, IP address, browser and device details, the consent action, and a TrustedForm certificate. We use those records to document requests to be contacted, maintain compliance records, investigate complaints, and protect against fraud or abusive activity.
We do not use form records for unrelated behavioural advertising, and we do not sell or rent them.
4. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- respond to quote, service, and callback requests;
- provide, schedule, administer, and support our construction services;
- communicate about an existing inquiry, project, account, or service relationship;
- maintain consent, preference, and internal do-not-call records;
- protect our systems, prevent fraud, and investigate misuse; and
- meet legal, regulatory, insurance, accounting, and recordkeeping obligations.
We will ask for fresh consent when we intend to use information for a materially new purpose, unless a legal exception applies.
5. Telephone communications
SNT is a voice-only business. We do not send SMS, MMS, or RCS messages.
When you ask for information, a quote, service, or a callback, we may contact you by phone about that request. At launch, our outbound communications are limited to live-agent calls from company-authorized numbers. We do not use prerecorded messages, artificial or AI-generated voice, ringless voicemail, or automated marketing calls.
You may ask us not to receive future marketing calls at any time by calling +1 (000) 000-0000 or emailing privacy@yourdomain.com. We maintain an internal do-not-call list and action requests within applicable legal timelines. A request not to receive marketing calls does not prevent communications needed to respond to a request you initiated or administer an active service relationship, where permitted by law.
6. When we share information
We disclose personal information only when reasonably needed for the purposes above, including to service providers that help us operate the business. Depending on the systems enabled for your inquiry, these may include:
- HubSpot CRM, when an online form is enabled, to maintain contact, inquiry, consent, preference, and customer-service records;
- ActiveProspect TrustedForm, when an online form is enabled, to document selected web-form submissions and consent records;
- Commio, if configured as our voice-communications provider, to provide voice services and process relevant call-detail information;
- website hosting, email, project-management, insurance, professional-adviser, and other providers needed to operate our business; and
- government authorities, insurers, advisers, or other parties where required or permitted by law, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a business transaction.
Our service providers may process personal information only on our behalf and for authorized purposes, subject to appropriate contractual or other safeguards. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use it for unrelated third-party marketing.
7. International processing
Some service providers may process or store personal information outside Canada, including in the United States. Information processed outside Canada may be subject to the laws of the jurisdiction where it is processed and may be accessible to courts, law-enforcement agencies, or national-security authorities in that jurisdiction.
We remain responsible for personal information transferred to service providers for processing and seek contractual or other measures designed to provide protection appropriate to the sensitivity of the information.
8. Retention and security
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy and to meet legal, regulatory, dispute-resolution, and recordkeeping requirements.
- Consent, callback-request, TrustedForm, and voice-service authorization records are retained for five years from the relevant record event, or longer if required by law, a complaint, investigation, or legal hold.
- Internal do-not-call requests are retained for at least three years and 14 days from the request date, and longer only where reasonably necessary for a complaint, investigation, or legal hold.
- Inquiry, quote, project, invoice, and contract records are retained under our applicable operational, legal, and accounting schedules.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we hold. These include limiting access to authorized personnel, using unique user accounts and multi-factor authentication where available, and using approved service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your choices and access rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete. You may also withdraw consent for optional uses of your information, subject to legal or contractual restrictions.
To protect privacy, we may ask for information to verify your identity before acting on a request. Where applicable, we generally respond to written access requests within 30 days, subject to any permitted extension. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the applicable provincial privacy regulator.
10. Cookies and changes
At launch, we do not intentionally use advertising pixels, retargeting technology, or sell website-visitor data for targeted advertising. If we add analytics, advertising, or other non-essential tracking technology in the future, we will update this policy and implement any notice or consent measures required by applicable law.
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will be posted at this address with its effective date.
